What is the 306A exam?
The Ontario Certificate of Qualification written exam for plumbers. It is also the Canadian Red Seal plumbing exam. This site is practice for that paper. It is not the official test.
How long is the Red Seal plumber exam?
About 4 hours and 125 questions. The 4-hour mock matches that length. The question bank is over 1,000 and growing.
Is this the official test?
No. It does not license you and it does not guarantee a pass.
Do I need an account?
No. You get a code. That’s the key.
What if I get interrupted?
The timer keeps running. Come back on any device before time runs out and continue. After time’s up, you get your score and section breakdown.
Do I see why an answer is right or wrong?
Yes, on a paid exam. Right after you answer, you see the correct answer and why. Your answer locks once you see it. After the exam you get your score and which areas to study, not a replay of the questions.
What happens after I pay?
The code is emailed. It is not shown on this site. The clock starts when you press Start, not when you pay. Close the laptop or switch phones. If time is left, you continue. When time is up, it’s up. On a paid exam you see why the right answer is right, and why the one you picked is wrong. Your answer locks once you see it. At the end you get a score and the sections to review, not a replay of the questions. Unused codes last 12 months.
Can I buy more than one?
Yes. The bank is over 1,000 questions and growing, so another exam is a different paper, not the same sitting again. Pick any mix of the 15-minute, the 1-hour, and the 4-hour. Five or more of one exam is discounted: 5–14 is 10% off, 15–24 is 20% off, and 25 or more is 25% off.
